A Classic View - This is definitely a classic pose and that is what inspired me. So to reinforce the "classic" of this painting I used 16th century paint colors; oil paints that were hand ground and made with the same materials as they did in the 16th century. To compliment this artwork I chose a custom made solid wood frame, with a soft black finish with soft red highlights and a gold metal leaf gilded lip.
